About TJ
TJ is a multi-state litigator and counselor with over a decade of experience. TJ has built a reputation for being a fierce advocate for his clients. Originally from Ann Arbor, MI, TJ ventured to Florida for his higher education, earning his degree from Florida Gulf Coast University and then his law degree from Nova Southeastern University.
TJ’s career is nothing short of impressive. He’s defended the nation’s largest manufacturers, protected mid-market business interests, drafted contracts for tech giants like Google, and represented major residential communities. He’s licensed in California, Florida, and Washington, D.C., along with numerous federal courts.
TJ specializes in safeguarding businesses across various industries, including tech, healthcare, transportation, retail, real estate, food and beverage, and hospitality. His expertise helps employers navigate complex employment laws and create solid HR policies, from onboarding documents to Employee Handbooks. TJ also defends companies against wage and hour claims, discrimination, harassment, retaliation actions, as well as class actions and multi-plaintiff lawsuits.
TJ is passionate about community building through accessible legal services and has served in leadership roles, such as Chairman of the Labor & Employment Section of the San Mateo County Bar Association and Membership Director on the Board of Directors for the Gay & Lesbian Lawyers Network. When TJ isn’t in the courtroom or advising clients, he enjoys playing tennis and whipping up delicious dishes like pasta and tiramisu in the kitchen.
