About TJ

TJ defends employers in court and before state and federal agencies against wage and hour claims, discrimination and harassment lawsuits, retaliation cases, California Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) actions and wrongful termination allegations. TJ also counsels employers, human resource professionals and management on a variety of matters including recruiting and hiring, wage and hour laws, leaves of absence, reasonable accommodations, disciplinary actions and terminations. In addition, TJ creates and updates Employee Handbooks for employers across a wide-range of industries.

TJ currently serves as Chair of the Labor & Employment Section of the San Mateo County Bar Association. TJ spends his free time playing tennis, traveling with his husband and spending time in the kitchen baking.
