Time to Vote!

California Elections Code section 14001 requires employers to post a notice advising their employees of their rights to ensure they are able to vote on Election Day, this November 8, 2016.  The following link contains a sample notice for you as well as a notice to Employers about Employee rights and their right to vote.  Please print out and post in an obvious location where it can be seen by employees as they enter or exit the workplace to be compliant:  http://elections.cdn.sos.ca.gov//pdfs/tov-english.pdf.

For more information on your legal obligations as an employer during statewide elections, please contact the employment attorneys at Chauvel & Glatt.
