Governor Newsom has issued a limited Stay at Home Order (“Order”) for counties in the most restrictive reopening tier (Purple) throughout California that goes into effect today, November 21st at 10 pm.
Counties who are in the state’s Purple tier will be required to abide by a curfew commencing tonight. This Order will require that non-essential work and gatherings in counties located in the Purple tier (currently 41 counties) to stop between the hours of 10 pm and 5 am, which will be in effect until at least December 21st.
As the Covid-19 cases continue to rise, this curfew is an effort to curb the current spike in Covid-19 cases.
