Contra Costa County Covid-19 Vaccine Mandate!

Effective today, Contra Costa is joining San Francisco County’s vaccine mandate for high-risk indoor business, such as restaurants, bars and gyms.  Patrons 12 years and older will be required to show proof of full Covid-19 vaccination or a negative Covid-19 test, before going into a high-risk indoor business in Contra Costa County.

In addition to Contra Costa County patrons being required to be fully vaccinated and/or show proof of negative test to enter high-risk indoor establishments, workers at these businesses will be required to be either fully vaccinated or tested weekly starting November 1, 2021.

In order to comply with Contra Costa County requirements, employers should take steps to implement mandatory Covid-19 policies in the workplace to give employees sufficient time to get fully vaccinated in time for November 1, 2021.    It is important for employers to properly implement mandatory Covid-19 vaccine policies in the workplace, as there are always exceptions to the requirements above.

Make your appointment today for a free Covid-19 vaccine at a location close to you.
