About Anne

Anne LeClair is an attorney at Chauvel & Glatt, LLP concentrating in the areas of estate planning, trust administration, and probate.

Anne’s practice focuses on advising clients in relation to family wealth transfers, tax planning, and trust and probate administration. She regularly counsels individuals and families in general estate planning, including the drafting and execution of wills, living trusts, financial and medical powers of attorneys, and property transfers, as well as complex planning through the utilization of irrevocable trusts and entity formation. Anne serves as a frequent advisor to fiduciaries and is skilled in dispute resolution. Having held leadership roles in philanthropic estate planning for Sutter Health and Santa Clara University, Anne also has substantial experience in advising clients with respect to incorporating charitable planning strategies into overall estate planning schemas, including charitable bequests and beneficiary designations, charitable remainder and lead trusts, donor-advised funds, and private family foundations.

Prior to joining Chauvel & Glatt, Anne served as a Trust and Estate attorney for a boutique Bay Area law firm and also managed a private estate planning practice. She is originally from the Midwest, having obtained her undergraduate degree from Ohio State University, and her Juris Doctorate from Santa Clara University.

Anne is passionate about her work and her community. She enjoys building lasting relationships with her clients and their families, as well as volunteering for local nonprofit organizations of interest to her. In her free time, you may find Anne out on the running or hiking trails, dining out at her favorite Bay Area restaurants, or otherwise enjoying an active lifestyle with her two children.
