Community Outreach at State Mock Trial Tournament!

Partner Michael Descalso has coached Saint Francis High School's Mock Trial Team (Mountain View) for the past 5 years.  They recently attended the State Mock Trial Tournament competing against area high schools. It is an extremely rewarding experience mentoring these future young lawyers.

 

High School Students Put on a Trial

Mike Descalso, an experienced AV rated litigator, has coached the Saint Francis High School (Mountain View) Mock Trial team for the past five years. The team, consisting entirely of high school students, puts on a trial, complete with pre-trial motion and argument, direct and cross examination, and competes against other schools in Santa Clara County.

Chauvel Attorney Gives Back

Recently, April's dear friend's son, Bryce Vaysberg, age 14, was diagnosed with a rare, life threatening bone marrow disease requiring a bone marrow transplant. Since then, April has spent numerous, rewarding hours volunteering for the National Bone Marrow Registry, Be the Match, as a registered donor, an educator and now a level II medical screener.
